The arcane disco experiment is in full swing. The Wizard is behind the decks, purple and blue bioluminescent light bouncing everywhere it shouldn't, which is exactly what Faerie Fire does and exactly why casting it indoors at a party felt like a great idea at the time.

Faerie Fire outlines creatures in glowing light, giving attackers advantage and making the target impossible to hide from. Everything it touches gets lit up for the duration, which is tactically handy in a dungeon and just becomes the light show at a party. The monsters on the dance floor did not sign up for this. The Dwarf with the shield came here to dance and is now reconsidering the whole evening. The small creature seems into it. The jack o lantern has no complaints.

Every campaign has a session that ends up somewhere like this. Someone casts a spell that seemed reasonable at the time, the music kicks in, and the night takes a turn nobody planned but everyone remembers.
