Every slot is taken. Swords, potions, rope, creature eggs, lockpicks, bones, torches, scrolls, keys that probably open something. A full grid of accumulated items picked up across however many sessions it took to get here, because you never know what's going to be useful and leaving things behind has consequences. The inventory management conversation has been postponed indefinitely.

And then, in the legendary slot on the right, clearly distinguished from everything else: the Emotional Baggage. Legendary rarity. Cannot Be Dropped. Weight listed as Unlimited, which explains a lot about why everything else feels heavier than it should. You've tried. The game won't let you. It just sits there taking up the most important slot in the inventory, glowing with that particular legendary shimmer that would be exciting if it were literally anything else.

Every RPG player knows the inventory problem. You carry everything because the one time you leave something behind is the one time you needed it. The Emotional Baggage operates on the same logic except it came pre-equipped and nobody explained the trade-off at character creation.

For the packrats, the completion-ists, the people who cannot bring themselves to drop anything just in case, and anyone who has ever looked at their own mental inventory and identified at least one legendary item that has been taking up space since a much earlier level and refuses to be moved to the stash.

The chest is full. Some of it is useful. All of it is yours now.
